Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote - School-based Practice

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments that gather comprehensive information about clients’ histories, presenting issues, and strengths to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team by actively participating in case conferences and contributing insights regarding client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families, empowering them with tools and strategies to navigate mental health challenges.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health research, methodologies, and best practices to deliver high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload primarily consists of school-aged children dealing with various psychological and emotional issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral concerns. You will engage directly with students and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support holistic care. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in addressing the unique needs of these young individuals, contributing positively to their academic and social success.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of California is necessary for this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations, particularly children and adolescents, is preferred.
• Proficiency in a variety of solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, and a critical thinking mindset to assess and address clients’ needs effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.

• Competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
