Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments tailored to student populations.
• Collaborate actively with students, teachers, and family members to create personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing academic and emotional goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in individual, group, and family sessions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, ensuring a timely response for students experiencing acute emotional distress.
• Keep meticulous and current clinical documentation that includes progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to ethical guidelines and clinic policies.
• Conduct psychoeducation workshops for students and families to enhance their understanding and management of mental health conditions.
• Regularly collaborate with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and school counselors to streamline care and advocacy for students.
• Implement outcome assessments periodically to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and adapt approaches based on findings.
• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate innovative practices into therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is primarily on students within the K-12 educational landscape who face mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related symptoms. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and unrestricted State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
