Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for students, using evidence-based measures to identify their mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting to each student's unique challenges to foster resilience and emotional stability.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality while tracking the progress of your clients and updating treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including school personnel, psychiatrists, and psychologists—to provide a holistic approach to student wellness, participating in regular case consultations to enhance care quality.
• Educate students and their families about available mental health resources and support systems, empowering them to navigate challenges with informed strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and practices in the mental health field to ensure optimal care delivery while also contributing to the clinic's process improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your role is pivotal in helping them not only cope but also thrive in their educational environments.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, underscoring your commitment to the profession and your readiness to take on challenges in a school-based setting.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), demonstrating your professional competence in providing mental health services.
• At least three years of clinical experience, which equips you with the necessary insights and skills to effectively address a variety of mental health concerns.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, candidates with prior experience in school settings or working with children and adolescents will stand out. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and cultural competency will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
