Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker for School-Based Support

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to become an integral part of our team at Together & Strong Counseling Center. In this full-time position, you will leverage your expertise to deliver vital therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families within a school setting. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing a diverse caseload, providing psychotherapy and assessment services, and ensuring that clients receive the necessary support to meet their mental health goals.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to support students and families from the comfort of your own space. You will work closely with school personnel and other healthcare providers to create a synergistic approach to student well-being. By leveraging telehealth platforms and digital communication tools, you will engage clients effectively, ensuring that your therapeutic interventions are both impactful and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, employing established therapeutic techniques to address mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma.
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Facilitate crisis intervention services for clients in urgent need, ensuring timely and appropriate response to their emotional and psychological distress.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community service organizations to create comprehensive support systems for students.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of services provided, adhering to professional standards for confidentiality and compliance.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in clinical meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and relevant training.
• Consult with colleagues and other healthcare professionals as necessary, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily center on school-aged children and teens who face a range of mental health challenges. You will provide direct services to individuals, as well as families, helping them navigate the complexities of school-related stressors, social issues, and emotional difficulties. Establishing rapport and trust with clients will be paramount, as you work to empower them toward healthier coping strategies and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A capacity for collaborative work, engaging effectively with other professionals and community members.
• Proficiency in managing a varied caseload, with an ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
• Commitment to ethical best practices and the maintenance of professional boundaries at all times.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on school-aged populations.
• Familiarity with digital health platforms and teletherapy modalities.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management within a school or social service environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. Additional benefits include:
