Position Overview

The Carewell Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our telehealth team in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time, remote position allows you to provide essential mental health support to students and their families. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while making a positive impact from anywhere in Texas. You will have the opportunity to interact with students in various educational settings, facilitating therapy sessions and educational workshops online. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations to gather essential information on clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and coping resources.
• Deliver individual and family therapy, as well as group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals and specific interventions, continually refining them based on client progress and feedback.
• Coordinate with other professionals—including school administrators, teachers, and medical staff—to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary, ensuring the immediate well-being of clients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans in compliance with applicable ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems where appropriate.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes, support groups, and workshops aimed at empowering clients and families with coping skills and self-management techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse population of students, ranging in age and presenting with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a supportive school environment, enhancing both student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a creative approach to adapting them for diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health, particularly in outpatient or school-based settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client engagement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits
