Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, history, and specific therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches focused on individual client needs.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, providing clients with practical tools and coping strategies to address their concerns.
• Monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists and social workers—to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Document all client interactions thoroughly within our EHR system in compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Good Hope Psychotherapy Center, you will engage with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including but not limited to, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your ability to approach treatment with cultural competence will significantly enhance the therapeutic relationship and outcomes for each individual.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state-issued professional license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and best practices for therapy.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with experience managing complex clinical situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with a broad range of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in providing culturally sensitive therapy in both individual and group settings.
• Familiarity with systems of care and resources for mental health and substance use treatment within the community.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
