This position offers the flexibility of remote work while also providing access to our outpatient office facilities located in Newark, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, individual needs, and emotional well-being.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's specific goals and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy to facilitate client progress.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress through effective tracking methods, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records that adhere to all legal requirements and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with various professionals within the center, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care for all clients.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Participate in supervision meetings, training sessions, and workshops to continually enhance your competency and skill set.
• Consistently adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards outlined by licensure boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse population of clients at various life stages seeking support for an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proficient clinical assessment skills and the ability to guide clients through various therapeutic methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated empathy and sensitivity towards clients' experiences and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Candidates are preferred to have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, providing mental health counseling or therapy. Prior experience working with diverse populations will be considered an asset, as will familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Grateful Guidance Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, complemented by potential bonus opportunities based on performance.
