Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our community health clinic. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Moonlight Mental Healthcare Services, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that cater to the unique circumstances of each family.
• Monitor client progress, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective interventions are in place.
• Provide family-centric support, offering tailored strategies and resources to enable optimal child development.
• Uphold and adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services.
• Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and team members, ensuring a friendly and inclusive learning environment.
• Design individualized treatment approaches based on evidence-based practices, such as Natural Learning Environment Principles.
• Empower families through education, coaching, and sharing valuable insights to encourage active participation in their child's development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays and their families. This sensitive work requires an empathetic approach, understanding the unique challenges faced by each family, and developing customized intervention plans that prioritize the needs of the child while empowering parents to take an active role in their development.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW licensure recognized by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate transportation for client visits if needed.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in early intervention with children and families.
• Demonstrated commitment to practices aligned with Natural Learning Environment principles, which emphasize learning in natural settings.
• Additional qualifications such as bilingual capabilities are considered an asset.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with ongoing professional development relating to early childhood intervention programs or specialized training in developmental disabilities will be favored. Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar case management software is also an advantage, as is familiarity with telehealth practices.
