Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote School-Based Position

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the unique needs of infants and toddlers.
• Collaborate with families and a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
• Regularly monitor and assess progress in tandem with team members, making necessary adjustments to service delivery.
• Provide tailored support and resources to families, empowering them in their child’s developmental journey.
• Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services.
• Establish strong, trusting relationships with children and their families to foster a conducive learning environment.
• Develop individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices and the principles of Natural Learning Environments.
• Champion coaching methodologies and natural environment teaching approaches to improve developmental outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on young children, specifically infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Our primary goal is to provide these children with the tools and support they need to thrive. You will work directly with families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with their child's development and empowering them to advocate for their needs in a school setting.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• A valid LCSW license issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• A current driver's license to facilitate travel as needed for home visits.
• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention services with children.
• A demonstrated commitment to the principles and practices associated with Natural Learning Environments.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bilingual capabilities are advantageous and encouraged, as they enhance our ability to serve diverse communities.

Preferred Experience

Experience with various therapeutic modalities, especially those geared towards early childhood development, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with the latest intervention strategies for developmental delays and disabilities is highly desirable. We also value candidates who have successfully implemented Integrated Family Service Plans and have practical knowledge of systems that support child development within educational frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits
