Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and support to clients facing symptoms of major mental health conditions and severe emotional disorders.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport and trust with clients and colleagues, embodying trustworthiness and integrity.
• Participate actively in team initiatives aimed at achieving community health goals, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration.
• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and maintain compliance with the Central Coast Psychotherapy Center's code of conduct.
• Conduct comprehensive, brief, evidence-based screenings and initiate more detailed assessments when needed.
• Create and implement tailored integrated care plans, ensuring seamless access to related services while fostering communication among clients, families, and providers.
• Deliver a wide array of brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services catered to the unique needs of clients.
• Monitor and document client progress, including assessment, individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide immediate support and resources as required.
• Maintain timely completion of documentation and reporting in accordance with agency protocols.
• Stay available for on-call coverage during and after program hours when necessary, ensuring consistent client support.
• Contribute to committees dedicated to enhancing agency service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. You will engage with clients experiencing varied psychological and emotional challenges, guiding them through their therapeutic journeys and promoting wellness within underserved populations. Your work will directly contribute to improving mental health outcomes and enhancing overall community well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Texas is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly within community health or similar settings, is required.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate a client-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of accessibility issues in healthcare.
• Proficient in using technology for virtual therapy sessions and electronic medical records management.
• Demonstrated success in crisis intervention strategies and experience in providing trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization is proud to offer a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 85,000 a year, commensurate with experience.
