Position Overview

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Wonder Prime Medical Center is primarily responsible for providing compassionate, effective therapeutic services to clients struggling with major mental health issues and severe emotional disturbances. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence.
• Engage clients in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring that their voices and experiences are central to their treatment process.
• Facilitate the development and management of integrated care plans that include collaboration with multiple service providers, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support.
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and ensuring timely documentation of sessions and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Participate in crisis intervention measures, utilizing strong assessment and communication skills to assist clients in acute distress.
• Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system, fostering positive relationships with healthcare colleagues and community resources.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and the organization’s code of conduct, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse clientele, many of whom face significant barriers to mental health care. This includes individuals experiencing major mental illnesses, severe emotional challenges, and those from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. You will play a crucial role in supporting these clients through evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique life situations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; an LCSW license is essential.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and a commitment to a holistic approach to client care.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and virtual communication tools for service delivery and documenting client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in community health settings or with under-served populations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of culturally specific techniques and best practices for engaging clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with crisis intervention methods and a proactive approach to preventing mental health crises.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
