Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Sixth Sense Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual psychotherapy to clients dealing with mental health issues related to substance abuse, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices in solution-oriented care.
• Administering therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique recovery journey.
• Keeping accurate and compliant clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Educating clients and families on mental health and substance abuse resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment options.
• Continuously updating knowledge of current research in mental health and substance abuse to enhance clinical practices.
• Managing caseload effectively, meeting designated treatment goals while maintaining high ethical standards in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on clients facing challenges related to substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience, with a focus on substance abuse therapy preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
