Senior Applied AI ML Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related discipline with 2+ years of experience, or an MS in one of these fields with 4+ years of experience, or a BS in one of these fields with 8+ years of experience.
• We need a strong foundation in information retrieval and natural language processing.
• We expect expertise in Python, Java, functional programming, and JVM-based languages.
• We look for experience integrating models into cloud-scale, microservices-based architectures.
• We value hands-on experience with one or more ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit, NeMo, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• We require practical experience with AWS services and Databricks.
• We expect exposure to SQL, NoSQL, and messaging stacks.
• We need excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong bias for action and ownership in early-stage environments.
• We require operational experience supporting an enterprise-grade ML application in production.
• Preferred: experience with the firms Databricks CDAO platform.
• Preferred: experience building production-grade ML pipelines, APIs, and MLOps frameworks.
• Preferred: experience in AML, monitoring, and investigations systems.
• Preferred: solid understanding of data engineering concepts, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
• Preferred: familiarity with vector databases, model serving, and inference optimization.

• We design, build, collaborate on, and operate ML models.
• We design, build, and run LLM solutions.
• We create feedback and accuracy measurement methods for AI solutions.
• We design, build, and operate risk feature data pipelines in Databricks.
• We monitor for drift, bias, and performance degradation, and alert on issues.
• We work closely with a cross-functional team using agile processes.
• We collaborate with Product Managers, SRE, and Compliance SMEs to improve product adoption, reliability, and outcomes.
