Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, while considering their duration and frequency.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, aspirations, and lifestyle preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients’ mental health concerns effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and essential self-care techniques to enhance their overall health.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on responsiveness and evolving needs.

• Engage in integrated care practices by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment solutions.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements regarding mood disorders to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies and maintain treatment efficacy.

• Uphold meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical guidelines surrounding patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will primarily work with clients suffering from various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clientele often includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, including marginalized and vulnerable populations such as those impacted by homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. You will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals towards recovery by addressing their emotional health needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
