Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will take a lead role in providing both individual and group therapeutic services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating dynamic group therapy sessions that foster peer connections, allowing clients to share experiences in a supportive setting.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions where you will provide empathetic, tailored therapeutic approaches to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Utilizing various assessment tools to monitor client progress and making adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and various mood disorders. The center not only provides therapeutic services but also emphasizes a holistic approach to well-being—addressing the psychological, social, and emotional aspects of mental health. The outpatient treatment center offers a structured Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), making this role crucial in establishing and maintaining a path for recovery.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure in New York State.

Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings or community health environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and tools, as well as experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, will greatly enhance your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
