Clinical Research Coordinator I - Anesthesiology

Position Summary In the Translational Research to Advance Pain Science (TRAPS) laboratory, we focus on improving chronic pain outcomes through lifestyle-based and behavioral interventions. We integrate sleep, physical activity, diet, and mindfulness to understand how everyday behaviors shape pain, function, and quality of life. Drawing on clinical trials and large-scale health data, the TRAPS laboratory develops practical, scalable approaches to pain management that go beyond medications and procedures. Responsibilities Implement and manage all phases of study protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Establish and maintain accurate record‑keeping systems. Assess and determine participant progress, including adverse events, and decide when to notify physicians or adjust protocols. Recruit and enroll participants, judging eligibility based on diagnostic criteria. Develop informed consent packets and conduct consent discussions with participants. Administer, score, and evaluate laboratory and clinical assessments, ensuring timely completion. Analyze and interpret collected clinical data, prepare oral or written reports, and make recommendations. Prepare presentations to report progress trends. Collect clinical data under protocols and perform duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience). Basic Life Support certification (valid BLS; online BLS without a skills assessment does not meet requirements). Strong communication, computer, interpersonal, organizing, and research support skills. Location & Working Conditions Patient care setting. Physical effort: sitting at desk or table. Equipment: office equipment. Salary & Grade Grade C09 Salary Range $47,400.00 – $71,200.00 / Annually. Benefits Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.
