Position Security Officer Badge Verification Patrol — Durham, NC Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, property-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or unsecured access points. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help control access, verify visitor activity when required, and support property rules and daily operations. Assist with routine security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and vacant spaces, while maintaining a visible presence intended to discourage unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
