Work Environment

This position involves onsite work in a home care setting, where you will have the opportunity to interact closely with patients in their own environments. Our flexible scheduling options, including 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts, cater to the work-life balance that our therapists value.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical health and functional status to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on clinical assessments and patient feedback, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment methods as determined by ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation exercises, recovery strategies, and techniques to promote independence and self-management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance the quality of care and ensure effective communication throughout the patient's journey.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in physical therapy practices, methodologies, and technologies to provide cutting-edge treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions in a home care setting. By working closely with each individual, you will help them navigate their rehabilitation process and achieve their personal health goals. Our diverse patient population varies in age, health status, and the complexity of conditions, ensuring a dynamic and fulfilling work experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Valid Florida physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Excellent time management skills to balance a caseload while providing thorough and compassionate care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, ideally with exposure to home care settings.

Compensation and Benefits
