We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 based on experience, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, harnessing the power of telehealth to reach clients wherever they may be. As part of our commitment to work-life balance, therapists will have a consistent schedule, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All necessary technology and support will be provided to ensure seamless communication and effective therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, facilitating accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans, identifying specific goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes to promote mental wellness.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques, helping them to understand the therapeutic process and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that interventions remain effective and responsive to client needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide an integrated approach to care, ensuring that therapeutic interventions align with any pharmacological treatments prescribed.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest research in mood disorder treatments to refine therapeutic approaches and contribute to improved client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, fostering professional collaboration and learning while contributing to the overall knowledge of the team.
• Advocate for clients both within the therapeutic space and in broader contexts, working to reduce stigma and promoting mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing various mood disorders. We serve individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those dealing with chronic conditions and situational stressors. By providing culturally competent care, you will ensure that each client feels understood, validated, and empowered to pursue their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for integrated treatment approaches.
• Proven ability to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes with clients experiencing mood disorders.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients from varied demographics.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience working in a telehealth setting is advantageous.
• Experience conducting therapy sessions with clients of various age groups and backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and relevant telehealth platforms.
