Mammography Technologist

Role Overview Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures using mammography, x-ray, and DEXA equipment to produce high-quality images efficiently while ensuring excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment, adjusting settings such as compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid, focal spot, and AEC to optimize image quality. Monitor patient well-being during procedures, recognize discomfort or medical issues, and respond appropriately. Guide patients through procedures with compassionate communication, addressing questions and concerns. Respond to physician inquiries regarding patient imaging needs. Qualifications & Skills ARRT(R)(M) certification and state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. BLS certification. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt in fast-paced environments, and solve complex problems.
