Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including a detailed review of patient history, assessment of physical abilities, and establishment of corresponding treatment recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively set treatment goals with both patients and their families to facilitate transparent and effective care.
• Expertly implement treatment protocols that stem from evaluation results and modify plans based on patient progress and healthcare advancements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with healthcare professionals when necessary to adapt patient care as conditions change.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care processes, ensuring accurate documentation of patient progress and care activities.
• Maintain productivity and time management by adhering to scheduling expectations and reporting promptly for meetings.
• Play an active role in achieving departmental goals by aligning your initiatives with regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Encourage ongoing professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring students in clinical practice.
• Enhance the patient experience by demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in providing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, post-operative care, and chronic pain management. By tailoring treatment strategies to each patient's unique needs, you will play a crucial role in their recovery journey, improving their quality of life and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. (Doctorate-level education is preferred but not mandatory)
• A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, patient-centered care, and rehabilitation protocols.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and a proactive approach to personal and professional growth.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
