We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at Body Holistics Rehab Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Alexandria, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. With a supportive team of healthcare professionals, you will collaborate closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and specialists to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques to facilitate recovery and improve patients' physical function.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly, adjusting care techniques based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and exercises to support ongoing rehabilitation and preventative care.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation and seamless communication with the healthcare team.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure each patient receives focused attention and care tailored to their needs.
• Inspire and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a motivation for independent movement and wellness.
• Stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy, integrating these findings into your treatments for optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist within our outpatient clinic, you will primarily engage with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach emphasizes empowering individuals through non-surgical interventions, making a lasting impact on their health and lifestyle. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings related to licensure.
• Solid understanding of manual therapy techniques and experience implementing successful exercise rehabilitation protocols.
• Proficiency with EMR software, preferably WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, especially within a sports medicine context.
• Proven track record of developing and executing effective treatment plans based on current research and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Experience in motivational coaching and patient education, fostering empowerment and self-efficacy in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
