Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan teaching license (Special Education)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in elementary settings is highly desirable
• Comfortable managing a classroom with up to eight students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to enhance academic outcomes
• Employ a variety of evidence-based instructional strategies
• Foster social, emotional, and academic development for students with diverse abilities
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
