Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mental health counseling to youth and young adults experiencing emotional and psychological distress.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans that respond to both mental health and psychosocial concerns.

• Utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to the specific requirements of our patient population, ensuring the implementation of best practices in mental health treatment.

• Maintain precise and confidential medical documentation following HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and safeguarding patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a vulnerable demographic of youth and young adults navigating complex emotional and mental health challenges. Many of these individuals are dealing with the impact of terminal illnesses, requiring not only psychological support but also assistance with grief, loss, and end-of-life issues. You will play a crucial role in helping patients and their families cope with the stress and emotional turmoil associated with serious health concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credentials are required.
