Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions to assist clients in managing their mental health, focusing on therapeutic practices tailored to individual needs.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' challenges and strengths, then develop personalized care plans that address their specific mental health issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to guide clients toward achieving their mental health goals.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive integrated care, sharing insights and observations that enhance the overall treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients within a hospice setting, many of whom face terminal illnesses and associated emotional issues. This includes providing grief counseling for families, helping clients navigate their mental and emotional health during end-of-life care, and supporting them through their unique journeys. Your ability to form deep connections with clients and offer empathetic support will be vital in creating a sense of safety and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington, without any disciplinary actions.
