Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you'll work within a dynamic and collaborative team of mental health professionals. Although you'll be primarily working from home, regular communication and consultations with colleagues, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, are vital to ensure cohesive care. Our culture emphasizes work-life balance, and you will follow a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to manage your work and personal life effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide ongoing education, support, and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health disorders and coping strategies.
\n
• Monitor clients’ treatment progress, adjust plans as necessary, and document findings accurately and confidentially.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated treatment and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Stay informed on the latest research and techniques in mental health treatment to apply best practices in your work.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical competencies.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and contribute to efforts to de-stigmatize mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, helping them to navigate the challenges they face and fostering resilience through empathic support and skilled interventions. By addressing each client's specific circumstances and crafting responsive treatment strategies, you will play a crucial role in improving their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in Kansas.

• Demonstrated proficiency with evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals and clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with complex mental health needs.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.

• Additional certifications in therapeutic modalities will be considered a plus.
