Business Development Representative

QA Automation Engineer The Team: We’re an energetic team of repeat entrepreneurs, building the next generation of e-commerce software. Our team of 7 has worked together in the past on successful software platforms and enjoys wearing many hats. We celebrate successes and failures equally and value innovation and teamwork. Syndic8: We are building the first true communication platform (enterprise SaaS) for e-commerce by coordinating multiple disparate activities within and between e-commerce companies. Our Tech: Java + Jetty + λ backend, Angular + S3 frontend, containerized with Docker, orchestrated with Kubernetes, pipelined with Jenkins. Experience with Jersey and Jetty is a major plus. We use microservices and are cautious about vendor lock‑in. You will be responsible for all things testing. You will create a ground‑up program incorporating our progress to date and work with the Head of Cloud Ops to establish logical gates and automation. You’ll collaborate with developers to ensure unit tests are complete, provide guidance to the team, and drive testing standards. You are expected to make analysis and decisions independently and own your solutions. Skills Fit: Expert‑level experience with testing frameworks (Arquillian, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG or equivalent) Expert‑level experience with UI testing frameworks (Selenium) 5+ years of architecting testing frameworks for SaaS software from the ground up 3+ years of testing against RESTful APIs 3+ years of testing against auto‑scaling, clustered, load‑balanced infrastructure Broad testing experience: unit, performance, security, automated, regression and manual testing Proficient in Java In‑depth knowledge of common AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, AMQ, Redis, etc.) and Kubernetes Daily use of JSON for building web services and RESTful APIs Expertise in MySQL with advanced query optimization Bonus: experience testing NoSQL and Apache Spark Character Fit: Experience working in a company with fewer than 50 people Constantly tinkering and challenging the status quo Clear communication and organization using Jira and Slack in 2‑week Agile sprints Disdain for large corporate bureaucracy Persistent engagement in learning and task completion Comfort with distributed, remote, offshore, and nearshore teams Passion for modern networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP) What you get: Excellent benefits: health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), commuter benefits, generous vacation Flexible work environment (remote, shifted hours) Equity shares depending on experience Opportunity to be a founding employee and shape product and company Chance to build your own team as we grow Customer Success Manager We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to manage day‑to‑day customer relationships and drive adoption and business outcomes for Syndic8.
