Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical abilities and limitations to develop customized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and oversee therapeutic interventions incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities designed to promote healing and restore function.
• Educate patients about their conditions and recovery strategies, ensuring they understand their role in the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in clinical teaching by mentoring interns and new staff members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the clinic.
• Prepare and present at least one in-service training session annually to share knowledge and best practices with the clinical team.
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication regarding treatment progress.
• Engage in clinical research activities with the support of management, contributing to innovative practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with individuals of varying ages and abilities, helping them regain mobility and strength while enhancing their physical function. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is necessary for this position.
• At least two years of hands-on experience working as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with team members.
• A background in clinical research or teaching within the field is a plus, but not essential.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred, showcasing a commitment to professional excellence and specialization.

Compensation and Benefits
