Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. Although the majority of your work will be conducted virtually, our Wappingers Falls office serves as a hub for administrative support and resources. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups to promote shared experiences among patients while addressing commonly faced mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients in acute distress, offering immediate support and effective strategies for coping.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in regular case consultations and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapy.

Your clientele will encompass a diverse range of individuals, including adolescents and adults from various socio-economic backgrounds. You will play a pivotal role in helping them navigate their mental health challenges through tailored support that respects their unique histories and experiences.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Strong assessment skills with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport building with clients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

We value applicants with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical settings, particularly those with a track record in providing both individual and group therapy. Previous experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, and familiarity with community resources available for clients, will be strongly considered assets.

Compensation and Benefits\n
