With driven focus for product innovation, compliance expertise and results-driven training, Acrisure has redefined how our dealer clients measure success and grow their bottom line.Discover more at: PAYABLE ASSOCIATEJOB OVERVIEWThis is an hourly nonexempt position reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.Weekly schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm at our Irvine, CA headquarters.RESPONSIBILITIESListed responsibilities include but are not limited to:Records vendor invoices and check requests with accurate coding and support itemsMaintains vendor files, including W-9 information, terms, etc.Pays vendors by scheduling payments/processing check runs and ensuring application of any outstanding creditResponds to all vendor inquiries regarding accounting in a timely and professional mannerProcesses employee expense reports, including verifying account coding and approvalsVerifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactionsProvides accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and proceduresProtects organizations’ value by keeping information confidentialUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesPerforms general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, scanning, faxing, mailing, and filing, as necessaryPREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCESDemonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and managementDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, and appearanceAdheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety RegulationsAdheres to local, state, and federal lawsAdditional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/departmentAbility to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessaryMicrosoft Office Excel experience preferredQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift to 30 pounds and stand/walk for extended periodsAbility to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reportsManual dexterity required using hands to finger; handle, feel and type; reach with hands and armsIf offered a position, all applicants will go through our pre-hire process which includes the following:Criminal background checkMotor Vehicle Report reviewVerification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hiringBENEFITS & PERKSPaid Vacation, Sick leave, and HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision, other voluntary benefit options availableThe company paid Life, AD&D with Long Term Disability policy providing income protection401k Retirement Plan with company MatchAt Southwest Dealer Services: Acrisure Protection Group | KARR Security, we are committed to creating a workplace that values and celebrates diversity.
