We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee key accounting functions for a dynamic and growing retail company. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience managing accounting operations across multiple entities and inventory-intensive businesses. This position is onsite in Nashville.


Salary up to $125,000

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain accounting operations for multiple business entities and ensure accurate intercompany accounting and consolidations.
• Lead inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation, reconciliations, reserves, and controls.
• Analyze inventory-related financial data and partner with operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Qualifications of the Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Required experience accounting for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
• Required inventory accounting experience within a retail, distribution, consumer products, or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
