Transportation Concierge Location: Onsite - Foster City, CA 94404Compensation: $25 per hourJob Type: ContractAvailable Shifts: Thu-Sun 11:30 - 8:00pm PT Sun-Thu 11:30 8:00pm PT Please note training shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm PT Position OverviewAs a Transportation Concierge, you will serve as the primary in-person point of contact for our client employee riders. In this highly visible, real-time role, you will ensure a seamless and positive rider experience by managing passenger flow, coordinating vehicle pick-ups, and providing support during service disruptions or emergencies.This role requires exceptional customer service skills, empathy, patience, and a proactive, relationship-focused approach.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster a safety-first, inclusive, and open communication environmentProvide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for all ridersAuthenticate passengers using badge scanning systemsCoordinate and hail our client's vehicles between designated pick-up and drop-off locationsCommunicate in real time with cross-functional operations teams via Slack and other toolsAssist with light crowd control to maintain safe and orderly boarding areasProvide clear updates to riders regarding service status, delays, or disruptionsSupport riders with next steps during service interruptions or emergency situationsAdapt to flexible shifts, locations, and evolving operational needsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or another customer-facing roleStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindsetDemonstrated commitment to delivering a positive and professional experienceHigh attention to detail with the ability to follow established protocols accuratelyProactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented approachAbility to remain calm and professional in dynamic or fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in high-pressure or fast-paced environmentsFamiliarity with de-escalation techniques and conflict resolutionPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods, primarily outdoorsAbility to lift and carry moderate loads as neededWork EnvironmentFully onsite role based in Foster City, CAOutdoor and high-visibility work settingFast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-driven environment
