Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at the New Cross Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, providing tailored therapeutic services to address specific client needs.

• Developing treatment plans based on thorough assessments of clients, incorporating evidence-based practices to achieve optimum outcomes.

• Facilitating conflict resolution and communication between family members, utilizing specialized techniques to address and improve relational dynamics.

• Providing educational resources and coping strategies to clients dealing with issues such as alcoholism, grief and loss, job stress, and medical challenges.

• Collaborating with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive support and referrals when needed.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families. You will address a variety of mental health challenges such as:

• Physical and psychological abuse recovery

• Interpersonal conflicts among family members

Qualifications\n

Prospective candidates must hold the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
