Work Environment

This position is fully onsite at our outpatient clinic, which is designed to offer a state-of-the-art environment for both patients and staff. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical limitations and develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions, focusing on restoring motion and enhancing mobility for diverse patient needs.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, tailored to each patient's goals.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans, fostering understanding and adherence to prescribed activities.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain an appropriate caseload to ensure quality time is allocated to each patient while adhering to clinic policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Promote wellness and healthy lifestyle choices, educating patients on exercises that enhance strength, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure consistency and comprehensive care across disciplines.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR software, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients in an outpatient setting, ranging from athletes requiring rehabilitation after an injury to older adults seeking to improve mobility and functional independence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in aiding clients in their recovery process, ensuring they can return to their daily activities with confidence and capability.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care, supported by relevant clinical experience.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and success in developing individualized exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices grounded in current research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a sports medicine setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience.
