Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. - IV start. - Telemetry. - Ventilator management experience. - Teaching hospital experience is required.

Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: - Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Transplant patients including kidney, liver, lung, and heart. - Critical care float pool environment across Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, and CVICU.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend nights F/S + 1 night shift, with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise.

Floating Requirements: - Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU based on staffing and patient acuity. - Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. - Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required
