Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments through live video consultations, ensuring comprehensive documentation of client's historical and presenting issues.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health and develop individualized treatment plans that are both achievable and measurable.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to foster client progress.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment interventions based on ongoing evaluations, ensuring that goals are met timely and effectively.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers to enhance the holistic care of clients.

• Assist in managing referrals to additional services, thereby broadening the support options available to clients.

• Provide education and support to family members, helping them understand and navigate mental health challenges within their loved ones.

• Develop strategies to identify behaviors that impact client recovery and implement preventative measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a varied client population consisting of individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Clients may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological disorders. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring they receive tailored interventions that address their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A passing score on relevant professional examinations such as the NCE or NCMHCE.
\n
• Demonstrated clinical expertise with a focus on mental health counseling.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective patient management and documentation.

• Experience working with clients facing both mental and emotional health challenges, alongside substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices and guidelines outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A comprehensive understanding of medications commonly prescribed by primary care and psychiatric specialists and their potential effects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for therapeutic documentation and client interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, coupled with a generous sign-on bonus.
