Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through interviews, observations, and medical record reviews to evaluate students’ emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing their academic and personal growth.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students and their families, helping them navigate adjustment issues, emotional distress, and familial dynamics as they relate to their educational experience.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychosocial factors impacting students’ success.

• Facilitate access to community resources, including support groups and vocational rehabilitation, and educate families on available post-rehabilitation services.

• Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for students moving back into community settings or from one care level to another.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports, adhering to both state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on a school-aged population, providing support to students experiencing a variety of psychosocial challenges including anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances. You will play an instrumental role in helping these students overcome barriers to learning and social integration, guiding them toward successful reintegration into the school environment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
