Capital Markets Associate

Position: Capital Markets Associate Location: New York, NY Experience: 1-2 years (Class of 2022 – Class of 2023) We are representing a prestigious law firm seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join their New York office. This full-time, partnership-track position offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate transactions, with a focus on capital markets. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, a strong academic record, and exceptional analytical and writing skills. Previous experience or an interest in working with a NewYork practice focused on the power and utilities industries is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Work on complex corporate transactions, particularly in the capital markets space. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to corporate transactions. Provide legal support in all aspects of deal execution. Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage and close transactions. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on various corporate matters. Qualifications Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in NewYork. 1-2 years of experience in corporate law, with an emphasis on capital markets. A desire to work with a sophisticated practice in the power and utilities sectors (experience in this area is a plus but not required). Strong academic record with excellent analytical and writing skills. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $225,000–$235,000, with variations based on factors such as experience, education, skillset, and geographic location.
