Work Environment

The chosen Physical Therapist will be working onsite in our outpatient office located in East Orange, New Jersey. Our collaborative work environment features a dedicated team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Together, we foster an atmosphere that prioritizes exceptional patient care while promoting professional development and work-life balance. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering predictability and stability in your weekly routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patient goals and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload that typically includes one patient per hour to ensure effective and focused care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design and implement personalized exercise protocols aimed at optimizing patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Motivate and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including the importance of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all patient care services and progress meticulously to allow for ongoing evaluation of treatment efficacy.
• Promote alternative solutions to reduce reliance on medications and surgeries whenever feasible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to a diverse patient demographic recovering from various orthopedic conditions. Clients include athletes, weekend warriors, and individuals initiating return to normal daily activities post-injury or surgery. Our focus is on delivering personalized care, which requires understanding and addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• Proven track record with no disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise plans is critical.
• Competent in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document and track patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, as it will enable you to hit the ground running.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based treatment protocols that lead to positive patient outcomes is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
