Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly as a clinician with students experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders, both remotely and when necessary, in the community.

• Conduct thorough assessments that are evidence-based and developmentally appropriate, identifying the specific needs of each child and family.
\n
• Create and implement integrated care plans that ensure access to necessary services, collaborating routinely with family members and other providers to exchange vital information.
\n
• Provide a range of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services, including crisis intervention when needed.
\n
• Maintain a manageable caseload, conducting individual, group, and family therapy, and ensuring that therapeutic approaches are tailored to meet client requests and presenting problems.

• Regularly monitor client progress through meetings, ensuring that treatment plans are effective and align with admission, continued stay, and discharge criteria.
\n
• Complete relevant documentation and data submissions in a timely and accurate manner to meet organizational standards and reporting requirements.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and committees to contribute to service delivery improvements and quality enhancement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents within the school system who face various mental health challenges. The LCSW will work with students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing socioeconomic hardships, family dynamics disruptions, and trauma. By employing a culturally competent approach, the social worker will assist in addressing the holistic needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
