Key Responsibilities\n

In your role, you will be tasked with performing a variety of critical functions, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' specific mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans to address these needs.

• Providing effective therapeutic intervention through evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities suitable for individual, group, or family settings.

• Working closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Offering crisis intervention and developing safety plans for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring immediate support and resources are available.

• Engaging in outreach activities and educational programs that promote mental health awareness and stigma reduction in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use issues. You will leverage cultural competence and sensitivity while establishing trusting relationships with clients to encourage open communication and effective therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications\n

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a master’s degree or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering therapeutic relationships with clients to enhance their healing journey.

• Demonstrate cultural competence in working with a wide range of populations.

• Show proficiency in organizational and time-management skills, crucial for maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Successful candidates will ideally have a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting. Experience with telehealth practices and a background in community mental health services will be viewed favorably, as will knowledge of case management processes and interdisciplinary collaboration.
