Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual psychosocial assessments that comprehensively evaluate students' emotional and psychological strengths and challenges, ensuring accurate identification of needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide effective therapy and counseling, including techniques suitable for both groups and individual sessions.

• Work closely with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare providers to coordinate an integrated approach to care, ensuring students' overall wellness is prioritized.

• Act as an advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and advocating for their rights and needs within the educational system.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and therapeutic outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) to facilitate continuity in care.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences, participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in clinical social work.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience delivering clinical social work services, preferably within a school setting.

• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations, including both students and their families.

• Strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice principles, and ethical practice standards in the preservation of clients’ rights.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school environment or working with children and adolescents.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Previous experience working collaboratively with educational staff and parents to support student success.
