Accounts Payable Associate- Hybrid

Job Description Job Description Brilliant Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounts Payable Associate with our client currently located in Palatine . Only 2 days Onsite, 3 at Home after training Our client has recently experienced tremendous growth, and they are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team permanently. Our client is a well-established, medium sized retail manufacturer . Responsibilities: * Process invoices and prepare vouchers for payment, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements * Coordinate with internal departments to obtain proper approvals for payments * Prepare and issue accounts payable checks * Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and records * Prepare and file 1099 forms in compliance with regulations * Respond to vendor and employee inquiries, resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issues * Process and manage employee expense reimbursements and reporting * Generate reports and reconcile cash and disbursement accounts * Analyze and track AP balances- provide reporting and account analysis Qualifications: * 3+ years' of recent experience in full cycle AP processing * Expense report processing highly preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Company Description Brilliant is an award-winning direct-hire, contract and consulting practice specializing in accounting, finance and technology for the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. Many of Brilliant's team members include former accounting, finance and technology professionals who are experts in the fields.
