Work Environment\n

The role of the LMFT at Hollow Bay Wellness is embedded in a remote outpatient clinic model that prioritizes flexibility and the well-being of both clients and clinicians. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance. In addition, we encourage a culture of professional growth and clinical collaboration. Regular clinical supervision and peer consultation groups are a part of our workflow, helping you stay updated with best practices and gain insights from fellow professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing in-person, telehealth, or hybrid service models tailored to client needs.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by each client.
\n
• Employ a range of interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and systemic family therapy approaches.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, engaging with case managers, medical providers, and peer support specialists to enhance client treatment outcomes.
\n
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation adhering to ethical and regulatory standards, including HIPAA, BBS, and DMH guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development through weekly supervision, peer consultation, and training opportunities.
\n
• Foster a positive clinic culture that emphasizes respect, creativity, and well-being among staff and clients alike.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as those from underserved populations. Your role is crucial in providing culturally responsive care focused on healing trauma, improving relational dynamics, and addressing mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active LMFT license in the state of California (no associate registrations are accepted; candidates must be fully licensed).

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient, community mental health, or private practice settings.

• Demonstrated knowledge of family systems theory, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practices.
\n
• Skills in creating a safe environment for clients and adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of diverse individuals and families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and trauma.

• Familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation standards and electronic health record systems is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00, commensurate with experience and caseload.
