About This Role The Registered Nurse - NICU - Temporary Per Diem Research Nurse is responsible for coordinating and overseeing clinical research operations in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong communication skills and clinical knowledge of NICU discharge processes. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Per Diem What You'll Do Support the principal investigator by examining the clinical study protocol and coordinating with NICU families. Collaborate with the PI to design and maintain a shared data tracking instrument for study enrollment. Attain required CITI Research certification for compliance with IRB standards. Define and clarify research-specific NICU discharge procedures with the PI. Screen, evaluate, and recruit potential study candidates; support informed consent processes. Obtain written informed consent from participating NICU nurses. Administer final study surveys via REDCap on discharge day. Monitor data utilization of the REDCap discharge checklist and educational resources. Conduct medical record reviews and populate study data into REDCap. Maintain thorough documentation for every patient enrolled in the study.
