Step into an engaging, student-focused speech-language pathology opportunity supporting elementary students on-site in a collaborative and diverse school environment. This contract position is available for an immediate start and continues through mid-June 2027, offering a fulfilling long-term placement with opportunities to positively impact 30-40 young learners.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students.
• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Providing direct therapy to students, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress.
• Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to a supportive educational environment.

To succeed in this role, you should offer:

• A valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
• The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Demonstrated experience or specific interest in working within a school setting at the elementary level.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to working with a diverse student population.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
