Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where personal interaction with patients is paramount. You will not only work at our dedicated clinic but also travel to patient locations for house calls, providing care in their residences. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Eye-Deal Vision Clinic, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patients’ needs.
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions, including ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests.
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to devise and implement personalized evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications and handling therapeutic interventions responsibly within your scope of practice.
• Educating and counseling patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to their specific health goals.
• Documenting accurate patient interactions and care activities using the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic patient care and clinical decision-making efforts.
• Engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with an advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New Jersey.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner).
• DEA license and prescriptive authority are required for this position.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred, we encourage all qualified candidates with appropriate backgrounds to apply. Compensation and Benefits
