Work Environment

Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring work-life balance while allowing you to engage meaningfully with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess skin conditions, obtaining a detailed medical history and ordering necessary tests, such as blood work.
• Document all clinical patient transactions in accordance with clinic policies, ensuring accurate charting, writing orders, and recording detailed progress notes.
• Perform a variety of dermatological procedures, including injections, mole removals, and suturing, while adhering strictly to safety and best practice protocols.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on treatment options and self-care, enhancing their understanding and involvement in their own skin health.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical and legal standards in all aspects of care delivery.
• Engage in clear communication with team members and share insights regarding patient care practices with the Medical Director.
• Stay abreast of dermatological research and advancements to incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you'll serve at Skin Elixir Clinic range from individuals with acute skin conditions to those seeking preventative care and cosmetic enhancements. You will work closely with diverse clientele, including teenagers facing acne challenges, adults requiring skin cancer screenings, and seniors concerned about age-related skin issues. Your role is pivotal in fostering a positive and trusting relationship with patients, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is mandatory.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proficient command of the English language.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure efficient patient management.
• Adept at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations while maintaining a focus on high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in dermatology or a related healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with common dermatological procedures and treatment plans.
• Experience in a surgical or specialty medical environment is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an extensive benefits package, including:
