Work Environment

This role is based entirely onsite at our surgical center, supporting a structured workweek of 40 hours from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own panel of patients while also assisting with physician overflow, providing comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Utilize your skills in a 100% clinic-based practice, focusing solely on outpatient care without the pressures of additional call requirements.
• Conduct various medical procedures including IUD placement, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, colposcopies (if trained), and circumcisions (if trained).
• Collaborate closely with our experienced physicians and utilize full Medical Doctor support for complex cases.
• Engage actively in continuous learning and professional development through scheduled training programs and peer-supported resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with female patients seeking general OB/GYN care, wellness checks, and specific procedures. The demographic served at our Morristown facility is diverse and reflective of the surrounding community. This role demands a sensitive and respectful approach to women's health issues, ensuring that each patient feels heard, valued, and cared for. Your expertise will directly influence patient health outcomes, from preventive care to managing complex gynecological health issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant and an unrestricted state medical license to practice in New Jersey.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is a job requirement, including compliance with any state-specific mandates for booster doses.
• Demonstrated experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, highlighting the ability to function effectively in a focused clinic setting.
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system is preferred for efficient patient documentation and management.
• Strong competencies in critical thinking, active listening, effective communication, and time management.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is highly desirable.
• Experience in direct patient management in an OB/GYN setting that emphasizes women's health.
• Previous roles that required independent decision-making and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
