Job Description Position Overview Kids Peace Wellness Center is actively seeking compassionate and skilled Full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote team dedicated to transforming lives through effective mental health support. Work Environment This position is entirely remote with an outpatient office setting, providing flexibility to deliver care from the comfort of your home while maintaining access to collaborative team support. You will work within a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. This balance allows for both professional commitments and personal well-being, enhancing job satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate tailored treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities aimed at promoting effective coping strategies. Maintain a meticulous system of clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices related to patient confidentiality. Engage collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to provide holistic care to our clients. Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share best practices and continuously improve our service offerings. Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health, treatment options, and community resources. Stay informed on the latest research and successful methodologies in the mental health field to apply current best practices in your work. Patient Population / Client Focus Our counselors primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges. You will engage with diverse populations that may struggle with issues such as trauma, emotional dysregulation, and situational stress, contributing to their overall mental resilience and growth. Qualifications A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Demonstrated proficiency in applying solution-focused psychotherapy interventions to cater to the unique needs of each client. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor your approach effectively. Ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to the team's dynamic. Preferred Experience Prior experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and practices, as remote service delivery is a key component of the role. Experience in multidisciplinary team collaborations and engagement with community resources is a plus.
